The Butler County Board of Education decided to renovate a former industrial factory building into the county’s new Area Technology Center. In addition to administrative spaces, the new facility will include laboratory, classroom and storage spaces to accommodate the following programs:

—HVAC Technology

—Industrial Maintenance Technology

—Carpentry

—Automotive Technology

—Machine Tool Technology

Renovation includes the construction of new wall partitions, new acoustical tiling, new flooring and other finishes. The project will also include HVAC system renovations, including split systems for classrooms and radiant tube systems for the laboratories. Sitework will also be required for the project.
