The Lincoln County Area Technology Center provides level three courses that count toward a high school diploma and industry-recognized skill certification. It also serves adults in the area through technical skills training for career enhancement. Programs include the following:
•Wood Technology—students will use computer assisted manufacturing techniques to produce furniture and other consumer products.
•Computer Technology—students will maintain and repair computer system networks through hands-on instruction with file servers, local area networks, software support and Web page design.
•Machine Tool Technology—students will transform designer ideas and drawings into actual products.
•Health Services—students will explore medicine, physical therapy, pharmacology, respiratory therapy, x-ray technology, nursing and other related fields.
•Industrial Maintenance—students will develop the skills necessary to maintain and repair industrial equipment and systems.
