With a history dating back to 1823, Saint Catharine’s College has evolved from a teaching college and a women’s college to a co-educational facility that recently gained accreditation to begin offering four-year baccalaureate degree programs. With those changes, the current college administration has launched a major drive to expand enrollment, facilities, and academic offerings.
The new Health Sciences Building accommodates the entire School of Health Sciences and features three programs within the college—Nursing, Radiography and Sonography.
The new free-standing facility has three floors. The first floor consists of faculty offices, a student lounge area, faculty work room and a conference room. Classrooms, seminar rooms and a 120-seat auditorium occupy the second floor. The third floor is dedicated to specialty laboratories for chemistry, physics and biology.
